Martin Lynch began working in newspapers at the Vancouver Sun after serving in the Second World War. He was recognized as an accomplished editor, noted for his impressive memory and extensive personal reference library. He worked for the Toronto Telegram, MacLean’s magazine, and at the Globe and Mail for twenty five years. He retired in 1982 and he and his wife settled in British Columbia.
